Ho Kun Xian is a professional Street Fighter player who is currently part of Team Razer. As one of the front runners of the Street Fighter scene in Singapore, Xian is extremely well-known in the esports industry due to his success representing the country in international competitions. This workshop will see Xian, a current professional Street Fighter player, share what it really means to “go pro” in esports, what the various responsibilities are as a professional player, the expectations one should have of the esports industry, as well as sharing his general experience and thoughts as a professional gamer.

Streaming Workshop

Andrew “Sombrero” Philippou is the current Product Development Manager at Razer. He is one of the top PUBG streamers on Twitch from Singapore, and is also involved in producing and casting PUBG community games here. Andrew will relay information on the basics of streaming, be it on Facebook Live, Twitch or Youtube Live. He will teach the youths how to set up a stream on programs like OBS and XSplit, how to design graphics, overlays and increase a stream’s production value, how to communicate and engage with one’s audience on stream, as well as how to make use of content wisely through VODs and clips for more exposure and potential revenue.

Commentary Workshop

Ever wanted to learn how to shoutcast? Come down and learn from Reirachu and Lysander, 2 Esports Shoutcasters in Singapore! Jenny “Reirachu” Lee is a League of Legends Shoutcaster and interviewer who casts the Southeast Asian Garena Premier League, and Lysander Xonora is an experienced host and Dota 2 caster who has casted at The International in Seattle.
Reirachu and Lysander will be sharing their knowledge of the fundamentals of game commentating and shout-casting, talking about the different styles of casting in the various Esports games as well as breaking down the skills needed to become a successful shoutcaster. They will also be sharing about their experiences as talent overseas at events.

Hardware/Product Workshop

A product or computer expert from Aftershock will be giving a talk on how to choose the right hardware as well as software to play games at the highest level, including sharing information on optimizing their computers for the best FPS, bitrate for streaming, reducing packet loss and etc. The expert will also demonstrate how to pick the right components and how to build a gaming PC in order to maximise one’s gaming experience. There will also be Aftershock products at the workshop for the team to test and try out.

Inspirational Talk

by Chawy


Chawy is one of, if not the most famous local League of Legends player in Singapore. He started his professional gaming career by winning 3rd place at The International Dota 2 Championship in 2011 before making the switch to playing professional League of Legends, where he played for 2 years on the Singapore Sentinels, Singapore’s national team in the Regional South-east Asian circuit. He was the first Singaporean player to be picked up by a foreign team back in 2014, and he has played professionally in Taiwan ever since on teams such as the Taipei Assassins and AHQ e-Sports Club, making 2 appearances at the League of Legends World Championships.

Come down and learn from pro player Chawy as he shares his tips on how to get good at League of Legends, how to play in the mid lane, and his experiences becoming a professional Esports player in Singapore and overseas! Lucky attendees will also have the opportunity to play 1 v 1 versus Chawy, who has faced off against Mid Lane Gods such as Faker himself!

Tammy “furryfish*” Tang is one of the top esports personalities and influencers in Singapore and is the founder of the all-girls Dota 2 team, Team Asterisk. With her roots in professional gaming, Tammy has worked in the esports industry for several years in various capacities such as team manager, team captain, professional gamer, streamer, influencer and esports event manager. She has worked with international brands like Corsair, Razer, Uniqlo and Secret Lab among many others.

Come down and learn about Esports Marketing, Communications and Etiquette, as Tammy will be teaching participants the fundamentals and basics of marketing within Esports as a professional player, including how to market oneself to brands, sponsors and audiences, how to negotiate and secure sponsorships, social media management as well as public relations to build goodwill with supporters.

Health & Fitness

A health and fitness expert will come in to speak to the youths about the importance of balancing gaming with exercise. The speaker will demonstrate simple exercises that are done by professional gamers in order to improve dexterity and increase concentration. The team will also learn ways to prevent gaming-related injuries as well as ways to cope with overexertion due to long hours in front of a computer.

Esports Talk and Meet & Greet with Voyboy


Joedat “Voyboy” Esfahani is best known for his innovation on the Rift and aggressive top lane playstyle. He has competed on Team Dignitas where the team qualified for the Season 2 World Championship, Counter Logic Gaming (CLG), and Team Curse.

Come down and meet the LCS veteran himself! Learn from Voyboy, a current full-time Twitch streamer, as he shares tips on how to get good at League of Legends, how to play out solo lanes, his rich experiences throughout his career and how he earned scholastic achievements at the same time.

Lucky attendees will also have the opportunity to play 1 v 1 versus Voyboy, who has years of professional experience under his belt. We will be holding lucky draws at the event where you can stand a chance to win signed Razer peripherals and mystery prizes! Refreshments will be provided.
